LightningByrd builds WooCommerce plugins that keep stores safe, fast, and watched, and builds the stores themselves: WordPress, Next.js, and React, engineered with AI-accelerated delivery from Port Orange, Florida.
Who we are
Plugin makers. Store builders. Operators first.
LightningByrd exists because we needed these tools ourselves, everything we sell started as something we couldn't buy.
We’re a small senior team based in Port Orange, Florida (serving Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, and the Volusia and Flagler County region, and stores everywhere else). We build and run production WooCommerce stores and the infrastructure under them, and we make the plugins that keep them selling.
The other half of the shop builds the stores and sites themselves: custom WordPress and WooCommerce, and hand-built Next.js and React when you’ve outgrown templates, with senior engineers pairing with frontier AI tooling for weeks-not-months delivery.
One rule holds everything together: every claim on this site is honest. No fabricated reviews, no invented numbers, and no plugin that acts before it has earned your trust in observe mode.
Our story
From store operators to plugin makers.
We build and run production WooCommerce stores, and the WordPress, Next.js, and React sites and infrastructure around them, for clients and for ourselves.
Operating stores taught us that the expensive failures are the quiet ones: card-testing bursts, leaked coupon codes, checkouts that die silently, databases that bloat until backups balloon.
So we built single-purpose tools for our own stores. IP Shield's first job was ending a real card-testing incident on a production store we run, and it's still armed on that store today.
Those internal tools became the plugin suite: safe by default, no telemetry, data on your own site, and a 60-day no-quibble guarantee. Three more are in research and development now.
